Crunchy Software

So...What do I have available here?

My Build Environment (build.tar.bz2 - Sparc Solaris 2.6 Binaries) - This is a collection of miscellaneous utilities that I use on a daily basis.  This package includes WindowMaker, a GNUstep-compliant window manager, and various image-rendering and infrastructure libraries that are needed to run it.  Also included is ncFtp, a text-based FTP client that is a great improvement over the one that comes prepackaged with most varieties of UNIX.  It even supports resuming stopped downloads.

My WindowMaker Accessories Collection (wmstuff.tar.bz2 - Image Files) - This is a set of screen backgrounds from the now-defunct Propaganda collection that I often use with WindowMaker.

GLib and GTK (glibgtk.tar.bz2 - Sparc Solaris 2.6 Binaries) - GTK is the core widget (graphical element) set of GNOME, the GNU Network Object Model Environment.   GLib is a miscellaneous function library that is also part of GNOME.  Although I consider the full Gnome environment a bit on the bloated side, GLib and GTK are very useful even without it.  My GLib and GTK package also includes IMlib, an image rendering library, which is also part of Gnome.  Many GTK-based applications also require IMlib.

GTK Themes (gtkthemes.tar.bz2 - Image Files) - Unlike the widget sets from certain other operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows 9x , NT, and 2000, the look and feel of GTK widgets can be customized to a great extent through the use of themes.  This is a collection of themes that I use with GTK.

GTKICQ (gtkicq.tar.bz2 - Sparc Solaris 2.6 Binaries, gtkicq-0.62at.tar.bz2) - This is a GTK-based client for Mirabilis' ICQ instant messaging service.  I have modified GTKicq so that you can enter a screen location in the configuration file and have it start up in the same place on the screen every time you run it.

Virtual Network Console (vnc.tar.bz2 - Sparc Solaris 2.5 Binaries) - This package allows for remote access to X and MS-Windows sessions from another host. It includes both the server (Xvnc) and client (vncviewer) for Solaris 2.5. It seems to work properly on Solaris 2.6 also.

Mojo Nation (mojo.tar.bz2 - Python and C source code) This is a peer-to-peer redundant parallel file storage and retrieval system. It allows for a network of servers operated by competing parties, and attempts to equalize the financing of services through distribution of an internal currency called "mojo". It's actually very neat. Anyway, the version in the package is a relatively early beta from the mojonation CVS tree on Sourceforge. I'm trying to build a Solaris port of it; although it builds and runs fine on Win32 an various linux distributions, there are still a few bugs that prevent its usage on BSD platforms.
